NZ Certificate Level 3 – 120 Credits
Keep working while you study this practical Level 3 certificate. Develop your industry knowledge and skill. From workplace safety, communication and construction terminology, to mastering calculations and basic building technology. Complete real-world carpentry projects and get a qualification to show your skills and experience.
Duration and study options
This course is available part-time on evenings and weekends for a total of 62 weeks.

Entry requirements:
- Must be aged between 16-40
- A New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
Course topics:
- Safety and Compliance (15 weeks)
- Project Planning (15 weeks)
- Project Implementation (32 weeks)
Teaching style
Delivered across three weeknight classes (one online and two onsite at our Māngere campus) and a full day class every other Saturday, this course offers:
